You Never Know Who You're Inspiring
When you step out in faith, you inspire others to do the same.

Sometimes we think stepping out of our comfort zone is only about personal growth.
But often, the courage it takes for us to move forward becomes the very thing that inspires someone else to take a step of faith too.
Beginning this VoiceRise journey has stretched me in ways I never could have imagined.
Before VoiceRise, social media really wasn’t a big part of my life. The only platform I actively used was my personal Facebook page and I had dabbled a little bit to promote my music and jewelry designs. I did have a personal Instagram account that I rarely checked, and I had never even downloaded TikTok.
At the radio station, someone else handled most of our social media content, so I was able to keep social media more at a distance.
Then God gave me the vision for VoiceRise.
And suddenly, I found myself stepping into an entirely new world.
I had to learn how to build a presence across multiple social media platforms. I had to become comfortable recording videos instead of speaking safely behind a microphone where no one could see me. I had to learn about app development, websites, branding, content creation, and so many technical things I had absolutely no experience with before.
Even with help from a wonderful platform during the app-building process, there was still so much I had to figure out on my own. There were countless moments of trial and error, setbacks, frustration, delays, and moments where I felt completely overwhelmed.
There were even times I could literally feel the spiritual warfare.
When you’re trying to do something that glorifies God and helps others heal, grow, and find freedom, resistance often comes with it. VoiceRise was created to encourage women who struggle with self-doubt, fear, insecurity, purpose, and confidence. It was created to help women strengthen their faith and find their voice.
And I truly believe the enemy wanted to stop that from happening.
There were days I wanted to quit.
Days when things felt too difficult.
Days when I questioned whether I was capable.
Days when I wondered if all the obstacles were signs that maybe I should just give up.
But every single time, God reminded me to keep going.
Not because the process was easy, but because He was walking through it with me.
Even now, there are still difficult moments and unexpected setbacks. But my faith is stronger than my fear, and I know without a doubt that God is guiding every step of this journey.
One of the most meaningful moments happened when my son called me one day and told me how inspired he was by what I was doing.
He said that seeing me step into something so new and unfamiliar encouraged him. He told me that many people my age would never attempt something completely outside their comfort zone, and he thought it was inspiring that I was willing to try.
That conversation meant more to me than he’ll probably ever realize.
Because sometimes we think our bravery only affects us.
But courage creates ripple effects.
Your willingness to step out in faith may become the very thing that gives someone else permission to believe they can do it too.
Maybe someone is watching you persevere through difficulty.
Maybe someone is watching you heal.
Maybe someone is watching you trust God despite uncertainty.
Maybe someone is quietly gaining courage because you chose not to give up.
You never know who you’re inspiring by simply being obedient to what God has called you to do.
So if you’re in a season where God is asking you to step outside your comfort zone, don’t let fear convince you to stay where it’s safe.
Growth rarely happens in comfort.
Purpose rarely unfolds without faith.
And obedience often impacts far more people than we realize.
Keep going.
Keep trusting.
Keep rising.
Someone may be finding their courage because you found yours.
